Why am I losing my progress every time I enter the game?

Oh, bother. We know how this is such a bad thing to happen when what you want is to keep progressing on a game. That's why we are here to help you with that.

It is important to know that this is not the expected behavior of the game. We store your progress locally in your device as cache and data. Both Android and iOS operating systems have different ways to handle each of these types of files and have different ways of letting the users manage them.

One thing that can make you lose your progress is the presence of apps for cleaning cache and data in your device. These apps are way popular for the Android ecosystem but they do exist for iOS. So if you use any of those, we recommend whitelisting Word Lanes in their settings to prevent them from cleaning cache and data.

If you have whitelisted Word Lanes but still faces issues with the persistency of your progress, please contact us through the game by heading to Settings and tapping on the Mail icon. This way we'll be able to help you further.
